27-28 February 2012, The Hilton London Tower Bridge - London, UK
Platts European Carbon Capture and Storage conference has become a benchmark for the industry. In it's six year history the event has grown together with the industry and provided attendees with an unrivalled overview of European CCS and its development. It has provided attendees with the latest in policy developments, tackled deployment challenges like finance, public awareness and storage liability, and showcased the leading projects in their various stages from Europe and from around the world.
2012 Programme — A Full Two Days with More Sessions, Stronger Focus on the Storage Challenge, and Greater Networking Opportunities
Following last year's success and feedback we have decided to increase the duration of the conference to a full two days. - including: Peterhead, Porto Tolle, ROAD, Mongstad, and Wilhelmshaven
- Global perspectives: How is the rest of the world incentivizing CCS?
- hear from Canada, the US, and China
- North Sea storage — How do we galvanize action?
- CO2 storage case-studies — lessons learnt and experience gained
- including: Otway, In Salah, Snøhvit, and Sleipner
- Encouraging CCS investment
- Creating an efficient demand delivering CCS infrastructure — Challenges faced and opportunities available
- The big ask — Changing the dynamics of public engagement
